We Believe

• in the Apostolic, the Nicene and the Athanasian Creeds
• that the Church of Jesus Christ is formed of all those who know him as their Saviour and Lord, regardless of denominational labels
• that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired Word of God, the final authority of doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in right living and sufficient in teaching for life and relationship for men and women, in singleness and in marriage, regardless of sexual orientation
• that the Scriptures clearly teach that sexual relationships outside of marriage between a man and a woman fall short of the will of God
• that the Church of Jesus Christ, with its rich diversity, and where it is true to the Scriptures, should endeavour to provide a spiritual home for believers who struggle with homosexuality and other issues of sexual brokenness
